Hurricane Relief

As many of you have already heard, BES is committed to helping those in need of hurricane disaster relief. Supplies have started making their way to the Media Center, but we need YOUR help. Please see the letter below and donate accordingly if you are able. We have made arrangements to have the supplies transported to Southeastern Georgia counties and distributed to those individuals or families with the greatest need. Thank you Byron Elementary Family and Friends for ALL that you do!

Dear BES Families,

Many of you have seen the devastation caused by the recent hurricane. Our faculty and staff have expressed a deep desire to help those in need. Mrs. Amy Smith, one of our Kindergarten Para-pros, has suggested that we assign each classroom a five gallon bucket to fill with cleaning supplies. These much needed supplies will be transported and distributed to families in Southeastern Georgia counties in need of assistance. Below, you will find a list of the needed cleaning supplies. We ask that each grade level purchase their assigned items. Should you like to purchase extra items, we will gladly pack those as well. The supplies will be transported THIS SATURDAY, October 5. We ask that you please send in your items by Friday, October 4.

If you are able to help in any way with this worthwhile relief project, we would be so grateful.
